At InJoy Cakes, we love our repeat customers. Today we had the opportunity to make Leila’s 6th birthday cake. Leila just loves Hello Kitty. We were overjoyed to make this pink and purple confection for her birthday. This pink iced two tiered cake has lots of details including purple fondant flowers and a hand molded Hello Kitty in a purple dress. In order to make the cake super fun for the kids at her party, we lined the cake with purple, pink, and white gumballs for an extra special treat.
We try to get as much design in each cake creation as possible and the cake board presents a wonderful opportunity to add color, texture, and depth to a cake design. We covered this board in bright pink fabric and lined the board in plaid Hello Kitty ribbon.
